UPDATE 2022: Enjoy a newly restored facade and foyer at Eolian Hall
Main Hall
The naturally lit Main Hall can accommodate up to 230 people. It includes a large dance floor and a raised stage.
Optional commercial-grade kitchen, bar and audio-visual screen and projector are available to be added to your hall hire for an extra fee.
Upstairs Meeting Room
The newly renovated Upstairs Meeting Room can accommodate up to 80 people in a theatre-style or cocktail setting.
The room includes AV facilities, heating and cooling and natural light.
Bar
OPTIONAL: A Bar is available to be added to your hall hire for an additional cost.
Bridal/ Dressing Room
OPTIONAL: Located separately upstairs is the Bridal/Dressing Room with private restroom facilities, seating and a bench.
It is perfect for a bridal party or for an entertainer’s dressing room.
This space can be used on request as part of your hire at an additional cost.
Eolian Hall built in 1933 is located close to Melbourne’s CBD at 836 Lygon Street, Carlton North and is available for hire for any event, occasion or activity. Just up the road from Melbourne’s “Little Italy”. Additionally to the hall space an optional commercial-grade kitchen, bar and audio-visual screen and projector can be added to your hall hire.
The main hall space is naturally lit, measuring 10 x 25m (250 m²) and includes a 50 m² dance floor and a raised stage. The space can accommodate up to 230 guests and is a versatile space that will be able to suit your upcoming event, occasion or activity. Situated across from the Melbourne General Cemetery it is perfect for wakes of any size.
Eolian Hall can also be used as:
- A Photography and video production space
- For funeral wakes/memorials (Across the road from Melbourne General Cemetery)
- Art gallery space
- Photographic/painting exhibitions
- Book Launches
- Music/theatre/dancing rehearsals
- Yoga/Pilates space
HALL HIRE COST
Monday-Thursday: from $650
Plus a refundable bond of $1,300 which will be released one week later.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: from $950
Plus a refundable bond of $1,300 will be released one week later.
Costs cover all-day use but do not include use of the new state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities, commercial-grade kitchen or bar.
MEMBERS DISCOUNT: A members discount of 20% is applicable for current financial members of the Società Isole Eolie who have been members for more than 2 years.
A booking is not deemed to have been confirmed until after a Security Bond has been received by the management.
