Farewell to John-Paul D'Amico

The Societa Isole Eolie (SIE) Committee is shocked at the sad loss of John-Paul D'Amico, the only son of Marcello and Pauline who died last Friday in a tragic road accident.
At 41 years of age, he was one of our ‘new generation’ members. He leaves young son William and wife Merryn.
We would like to extend our condolences to his wife and son, his parents Marcello & Pauline D'Amico and all the D'Amico family. Marcello is a former SIE Secretary and has been a member for 53 years. Pauline is a popular accordionist with the ‘Aeolian Players’.

Rest in Peace John-Paul.

Farewell to Bob Mollica
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Bob at the age of 91. The Società Isole Eolie committee would like to pass on our condolences to his family and friends.
Bob first became a member of the Società Isole Eolie in 1956 and was a respected person who we valued highly. He supported the club and attended many functions with his late wife Catherine. He also attended committee meetings when Bob Natoli was President 1984-85.
In recent years, notwithstanding his declining health, he came from Mornington to participate in our functions and this was most appreciated.
You will be missed Bob. Rest in Peace!
